Longines Longines 17945 wrist watches news:
In honor of the Aviation Collection advancing in the March Madness contest, I thought I would post this ad from the an earlier addition to this lline.
The one that is stainless steel and cushion shape. I rather like the watch and thinking of getting it. It is reasonably price to me. I never have Longines watch before
I have a 6000 series that I bought new in 97 and have had no problems with it until last week. I noticed after doing some snorkeling last week that it had moisture inside and then the hands started discoloring from the salt water and then a couple of days later it stopped. When I got home I took it to an AD and it needs a new dial and hands and a complete service. I'd like some opinions from everybody on here to see if you think it makes sense to spend the money to fix it since the value of these are not a whole lot more than what it's going to take to repair it and it seems one big problem with this watch is the band breaking (which hasn't happened yet) and that will be very expensive to replace too. Estimate:Due to the water damage we will need to service the watch along with replacing the dial & handsplete service $210Hands $50Dial (Silver) $260 Not in stock (Order from TAG)Total $520We have two TAG dials (blue or white
Hi Guys, as you know the New Speedy Bigbox equipped with the new screw type bracelets and reading other online source that Omega tend to be using a bigger Spring Bar vs Rolex Spring Bar.And the Spring Bar tool which come with the Bigbox doesn't really good enough and I was wondering anyone here used a Bergeon 7825 (pliers / tweezer) to remove the bracelets before?Bergeon 7825 was described as a very fine tip and does it provide enough grip on the bigger Omega spring bar?
Hello all, It's tine for my next strap fix from micah, I'm torn between alligator or mauser strap, which one would you guys choose first.
