Longines L4.209.4.72.6 wrist watches news:
A little bit of a twist on the usual watch shots. This is mine, a 1973 Seamaster Cosmic 2000 correct movement, dial etc, in a 1969 Constellation case. Case was a little over-polished, but just adds to the look. Everything fits perfectly.I think this watch is a winner style-wise.

I have the opportunity to purchase a circa 1960's Patek philippe calatrava. The owner sent me servel sets of numbers...case 341075 mvt 796067 and 3459. It has a gold color dial and the mesh bracelet is attached to the head can anyone shed some light on price? Or any additional information? Worth even buying?
I was looking at watches recently and became intrigued with the history and style of the Luminor line.I have purchased a 510 and 562 within the last month and must say, I LOVE THESE WATCHES!!The look , the feel, the accuracy...everything is so cool and nice.Just an observation, that 5000 8 hr movement is amazingly accurate this far. Both watches running at +/- 2 seconds per day, well within COSC standards.I have been a dedicated Zenith and Omega collector for many years and its sooo nice to not have to use a winder on these PAMs. Just wind once a week, and switch around to whatever.Anybody got an opinion as to what would be a good addition to my new family?I rely soley on reputable reselllers who sell only new, carry their own warranty and have been in biz for over 20-30 years so it cant be the latest lineup of Luminors.
