Okay time for me to get serious. Specific to the watch shown here, I'd appreciate any comments on things you see in terms of Franken substitutes, if there's anything here that would lead you to think it a fake, and overall observation.Photo credit: eBay user "sanderson_and_son"Second, and possibly even more important, I'm looking for some help in terms of understanding the "Precision" line. I'm looking for a thinner-cased watch from the late 1950s, so probably not an automatic. What was the time period for the Precision? What demographic did it target? Breitling Seawolf - My Review
There is no denying that the Breitling SeaWolf is a fantastic looking timepiece. It seems lengthy consideration has been bestowed on the aesthetics of this utilitarian tool watch. The case is meticulously finished, with the perfect combination of polished and brushed finishes applied. The dial is well balanced and detailed. However, there is one subtle distinguishing visual detail on this watch that makes it a superior dive watch than almost everything else available on the market.Yes, that’s right: This watch has a depth rating of 3000m! We need to digest that minor/major detail for a little while and try to put it into some kind of perspective: If you were to walk 3000m it would take you about 40 minutes on average. Consider starting that 3000 meter walk from your front door. Imagine where it would take you. Personally I would feel a long way from home if I were on foot. If you were travelling 55 kmph on the US highways it would take you three and a half minutes to travel that

How does the 4R36 movement in the Baby Tuna compare to the NH35A I have in my 0420 from Invicta?

these are old pictures which I took long ago.My AD had one 5070P and called me when it was delivered. The watch was ofcourse sold but at least I could take some pics of this dreampieceAnd because I read too many questions on this site if a Patek is really so much better than Rolex ... Look at these macro movement shots. The finishing is unbelievablenote that these are pics from another 5070, the red gold.Also pictures I took long ago but since the movement shot from the platinum 5070 were not that good I'll show these.Ofcourse the movement in a 5070 red, yellow white or platinum are exactly the same.So if somebody ever asks again if they are better ... this answers your question.If you don't know how much effort this takes ... read some books about high-end watchmaking br

This is just for a bit of fun. Not my favorite look but surprisingly it feels and looks natural for the watch! A little stiff at the moment but I'm enjoying it.What do you all think?
