- I bought this for my son who is 16 he likes it. It did take a little bit to figure out all the stuff on it.The directions were a little confusing. It works great though, easy to operate once you get it figured out.

- Very Lovely watch, seems to wear well, and fun. As noted before, not a dainty watch, but distinctive. The open view back of the watch is very interesting also!

We talk about my trip to Audemars Piguet, being on a boat!, the Hublot King Power F1 Monza, and the long (long) awaited released of the Harry Winston Opus 3 watch.Listen to the HourTime Show watch podcast episode 36 here.
James Feldman knows how to make a really nice watch winder. I don't know whether he knew this about himself before or after he founded JFA to makes watch winders, but I have been very impressed with the company's JFA Four Watch Winder. Further, JFA watch winders are made in Germany.I haven't used a ton of watch winders in my time as a watch lover, but enough to know what works well, and what just plain stinks. There is not nearly as many watch winders on the market as there are watches. Probably because watch winders such aren't as sexy and don't have the same initial appeal. They are more like tools, but they can be really reliable and useful tools, or merely help you to get by. A good watch winder should do a couple of key things. 1. Keep your watches wound without breaking them. 2. Make it really easy to insert and remove watches. 3. Require little to no maintenance, and last a long time. 4. Take up only as much space as necessary. 5. Not make you worry about placing an expensive wa
I managed to drop my vintage Hamilton Glenn. The glass crystal is badly cracked and the minute hand has come loose.Judging by just the hour hand, it appears to be keeping good time.Could anyone here give me info/advice on (1) recommendation of a good watch maker in LA who could do the repair(2) whether NOS is still available for the crystal and where I could get one/how much it might cost(3) any other advice on what I should doHere's a pic:Many thanks to all.
Hey All,Recently came across an Speedy Broad Arrow Re issue 1957 on a local vintage watch dealer, tried it in the store and instantly fall in love with it (did not bought it at the store as they were asking too much). Don't really understand why a SpeedMaster is not in my collection in my early days of becoming a WIS is beyond me..:-sPicked this one up from a trusted dealer here in TRF, thanks Mr.W!Now I truly understand the allure of the SpeedMaster; classic design, rich history, iconic watch! It is hard to resist this beautiful timepiece from Omega!Enough talk..here are some pics, not great ones as I took them in the office with the Iphone and some photoshop tweaks. And yes..I have realized this Speedy should be 3594.50..not what it is on the electronic bean counter..silly me
I have been looking for the next watch to add to my current rotation and have narrowed it down to the Sub C (have not decided date or no date) or the Sea Dweller 16600. I know this has been asked before but I did not see anything recent when I searched. I like the idea of the updated bracelet and the glidelock clasp but I love the looks of the 16600. For those that have or have had both, what are your thoughts? Thanks for your input, below is a picture of my current rotation Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
