- This looks gorgeous on my wrist after I removed about the half the links since I could slide it on and off w/o opening it. The face is the perfect size for the narrow band. The crystals add just the right amount of sparkle.

Longines 382 wrist watches news:
Hell All,Newbie here with a questions. I posted this on another watch forum as well:Hello,This is my first post in the forums! I have had a titanium SMP for about 10 years and loved it very much. I recently purchased the new planet ocean with the 8500 series movement. I had some concerns about the way the crown srews in on the new 8500 and was hoping some folks with planet ocean 8500 can help/chime in:When I screw in the crown it does not feel like it locks up very tight. It is also easy to unscrew as compared to my old SMP. Is this normal for the planet ocean 8500? Should I be concerned about the water tightness? Does Omega pressure test every watch after assembly? The watch is only a day old so I am feeling a bit stressed by this. Hope it is normal...Thanks in advance for your help!!-b
WHY MAINTENANCE ?Your Breitling watch is a sophisticated precision instrument which is constantly subjected to a wide variety of stresses and strains. In a very tight volume, numerous components are operating together and contribute in their own way to ensure all the time and chronograph functions. Wear and tear is the unavoidable result of any mechanical movement. Maintenance serves to control this phenomenon by renewing lubrication as well as replacing worn parts. For example, your movement is protected by a case fitted with gaskets to ensure its water resistance. Under the influence of various external elements, these gaskets progressively deteriorate and must be periodically replaced. Your watch must be regularly maintained in order to ensure it operates as efficiently as possible.MAINTENANCE DESCRIPTIONThe Authorized Breitling Service Centers offer two major services:1. The Maintenance ServiceThe frequency of this operation mainly depends on how often you use your watch in water.
I have been thinking about getting a GS with a leather band as a dress watch later this year (among others) and was wondering about the various movements: automatic/manual wind, Hi-Beat, and spring drive. How do these compare? For example the SBGR061 (available in the US) has an automatic and SBGH013 (based on GS's Japanese website) has a Hi-Beat but they have a similar color scheme and design. Would you say the Hi-Beat and Spring Drive are better movements than the basic automatics or would you say they are as good except the latter two are preferable as they are unique to Seiko? Right now I am considering those two, the SBGA057 (spring drive and based on the Japanese website), the SBGW021 (automatic with GMT), and SBGW001 (manual and based on the Japanese website).Thank You
In your opinion who makes the most accurate.
So I've noticed online that the white face 116500 is being sold at a higher premium than the black face one.... and the difference is a considerable amount...at some places the white face is being sold $2500 USD more than the black face (at swissluxury for example)..... how come? Is this due to more demand of the white face?....also the difference is just a dial swap away, which probably Rolex will do themselves for you if you are ready to purchase the extra dial (if not now, maybe later).... than y such a big premium for a different colour dial? Also how long do you guys think this premium will remain? And scarcity? Meaning it will be easily available at Rolex stores?
