Hi there,I am thinking of buying this Ventura,It is very cheap ( for obvious reasons !)From the picture can anyone tell me what's wrong with the dial ?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1327333420.548369.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1327333436.673812.jpg
I've read countless discussions where one member complains about the accuracy of his new watch and is advised by others to give it a few weeks to "break in". I have a problem with this. First of all I've never had a new mechanical watch run badly and then correct itself so I don't support this theory. But I have a few questions for those that do. How do the certified watches pass the COSC testing procedures? Do the manufacturers break them in before sending them? And wouldn't you think that even non-COSC watches are regulated at the factory before shipping?Would they deliberately regulate them +17 seconds knowing that when they break in they'll slow down?
I bought an AP diver strap to put on my ROO Panda. The problem im having is i can not get these screws off to take the bracelet off. I feel like im going to strip the head of the screws. Any ideas would greatly be appreciated..
This afternoon I was the first lucky customer at the Royal Exchange boutique in London to pick up a Snoopy Speedmaster. Sincerely happy to have had the conviction to commit when the order books opened up earlier in the year. Superb service which has so often become the norm. We were all equally excited to open up the matt black presentation box.Excited is truly an understatement.
Sapphire sandwich...Aside from the 5517 Sub, the Speedmaster Pro (any version) is my favorite of all time.Around 11 years ago, I bought one used for around $1250 USD --and at the time, I didn't even consider it a great deal either! Now these retail for $5,500 US and easily around $3,000 used. Is it not comforting to know that despite the economic collapse and sky high unemployment, luxury items still continue to rise in price, huh?
