- Beautiful watch with numbers large enough to read. I love it. It's elegant enough for an evening out but I also wear it every day to the office.

Here's a minor niggle about my Speedmaster bracelet. I've owned 3 of these beauties over the years and the problem's come up with two of 'em. Quite simply, two adjustment holes aren't enough. I can add a link and go on the tighter hole and in summer I'd be OK. In winter the watch would ride up half way to my elbow. Or I can take out the link, go on the looser hole and wait for the blood supply to my hand cut off in hot weather. I'd hoped the bracelet on my Schumacher Red Legend would stretch out a tidge with normal wear, but it never happened. I discussed this with Chuck Maddox and he agrees with me, but I've never seen this mentioned on our fascinating forum. Has anyone else had this leetle problemo?
I was looking for a cheep but well made GMT and if I was buying by the pound, I may have found it. The Now Voyager Automatic Bracelet Watch by Stuhrling Original is very heavy indeed and looks great but I am having second thoughts about the "well made" part. My infatuation ended when I tried to set the date. It was almost impossible to detect any stop when I pulled out the stem to what should have been the correct position. It was after several minutes of frustration that I noticed a faint warning label on the crystal. It reads: "CAUTION DO NOT USE THE QUICK SETTING FUNCTION BETWEEN 2100HRS to 0300HRS" Did I or didn't I? Such a dire warning makes me wonder if I damaged the watch. Anyone have experience with the Cal. DG-3804B? Was it made in China as I suspect? Stuhrling omitted any hint as to national origin. Any and all opinions welcome. You won't hurt my feelings.
Brown calf Breitling strap for my nav01. I haven't delved in the aftermarket strap market yet for Panerai. These came free from my AD who kind of goofed on my Breitling order a few months ago. He originally offered a black calf, but I requested brown thinking I can use it on the Pam.I'll likely never change the blue straps on my Navitimer, so thought I'd try it. Should I bother changing out the tang?Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
