Maurice Lacroix fa2164-sd532-170 wrist watches news:
In my opinion this is a Patek Philippe watch you just don't see every day. Not sure if it is still being made, but this is a Patek Philippe Ref. 5085 and is quite stunning for what it is. You really don't see a lot of Patek Philippe watches on metal bracelets aside from the sport themed Nautilus. This piece is extremely classic in style, and very legible. The movement is always quite pretty.Interestingly enough there are at least two types of casebacks for this watch. Some have exhibition casebacks and some have solid metal casebacks with the Patek Philippe Calatrava Cross logo on it. Why two versions? I don't think. Not sure if one is more rare than the otherwatches-dealering in a 37mm wide steel case, this isn't a very large watch, but in line with the size of most Patek Philippe classic watches. I love the highly polished rounded steel bezel and very utilitarian feeling hands and hour markers. The hands have thin strips of lume while the hour markers are accompanied by lume squares.
My thanks to Mr JBond of WUS who posted this interesting linkshadowfire.de/warholizer which allows you to convert your images Y'all have fun now pals ZIN
Hi All,I am based in the UK and I'm looking to buy a Rolex Green Submariner (Hulk) from a trusted source in Switzerland.I've heard that if you buy a Rolex outside of your territory (ie, if I bought from the US or if someone from Asia bought from Europe) it would not be covered for any manufacturing defects under the official warranty.Switzerland is in Europe, like I am, but it is not part of the EU. Will this cause me issues if I need to use the warranty in the UK?I've asked staff at Authorised Dealers in the UK that I am aquainted with and they didn't know. Thanks in advance for any advice and information.Rick.
Well I got bored with my Batman GMT-IIC and I decided I wanted to try something else so I did a deal with a local guy that had a listing and traded up to a Mint AP ROO Diver. I love the watch and I'm glad I did the trade.
Hi, after much thought, I finally gave my slow running Omega Speedy Pro Moonphase to the Omega Boutique here in Sydney some weeks ago with clear instructions that no polishing was to be done. Mentioned a ultrasonic clean and a full movement only service was to be carried out, all in writing. Also itseems the crown and pushers are always replaced irrespective of condition(not sure why) but I get to keep the old ones. Can't wait to see the result, will keep you'll posted.
