G. Gerlach ORP Orzel 85A Review
When we first mentioned G. Gerlach a couple of years ago it was because it seemed like a neat novelty for a brand to manufacturing watches in Poland. The first watch of theirs we reviewed, the Otago, was cool, but it had a lot of room for improvement. Well, since then we've reviewed the awesome automotive Lux-Sport and the stylish vintage-inspired Navigator. Both showed great improvement from the brand and that they weren't just a novelty. Rather, they quickly established themselves as a serious brand to keep in mind for quality affordable watches. The fact that they make them in Poland, totally bucking industry trends, is just a feather in their cap.Today we're going to look at the ORP Orzel 85A, a spiritual follow up to their first watches, the ORP Dzik and the ORP Sokol. Called back immediately, just to get told ap have pulled the supply of 15202. Boutique only from now on! Ad can't supply and wanted to refund depositsFew months later, got a call from ap direct. They'd heard I wanted to buy one, realise there is no boutique in UK and have said I can buy from their London office instead ?19300. When I originally placed my deposit they were ?16600. Obviously price raised and probably got the boutique price hike as wellGot to say. I'm not impressed. Even though its waiting for me to pick it up... I'm thinking twice nowWhat would you think?

Hi guys,Looking for some opinions on the black bay S&G, really do like the watch but not the biggest fan of the riveted bracelet, does this grow on you? The other sticking point is that I'm not sure if after shelling out the RRP of ¡ê3,580 I'd regret not saving up a bit longer for the likes of a BLNR, a watch I've been lusting after for a while.ThanksOllie
