Pictures from Yesterday at the NAWCC Regional in Lenexa, Kansas.
Hey guys !Yesterday at 4am me and Tiffany got up to drive to O'Hare Airport so we could fly down to Kansas City for the River Cities NAWCC Regional.We had never been to this show before so I did not know what to expect.Short flight, only about 1 hour and 10 minutes (I slept the entire way).Got a CHEAP rental car at Dollar for $14.00 but the taxes on the car rental was $15.92 (pretty funny).We jumped in our Kia Soul and headed for the nearest Waffle House for breakfast, Pecan Waffles of course !!!"The World Famous Backpack" was kind enough to stop and take a few pictures with Tiffany and with our watches for some wrist shots ! ! !After breakfast it was only about a 15 minutes drive to the show in Lenexa.The show was rather small when compared to other NAWCC Regionals as you can see from the pics.At the show we bought 4 watches and about 5 movements I think, not a lot of stuff but quality items.The "BUY OF THE DAY" was something that I have ALWAYS wanted and I got it for a KILLER price !

A new member of the Breitling club!
So I was killing time at the big mall here in Orlando while my wife was doing whatever she does. This mall has a Breitling Boutique (as well as a Rolex and Omega boutique as well). They had a boutique only 1 of 100 Avenger Blackbird with a stunning yellow face that really caught my eye. It was $5100 and I nearly got sucked into the 1 of 100 bit but I decided to take my smartphone (at my wife's insistence) and ask in this forum if the limited edition actually increases the value. Nearly immediately I received a response that no, in fact it does not and by the way don't buy a Breitling new anyway. Thanks TRF as always.Last night I was in another mall and my wife was looking for a Mikimoto bracelet, ths store was a Breitling dealer as well and I spotted an Avenger II Seawolf with a yellow dial on a rubber strap. Need advice on adding to collection..
Hello guys and gals,I am relatively new to this forum, and to Rolex, but have found this site very informative! My current collection consists of: - YM 40, 2 tone everrose with chocolate face- SD43 with red lettering- BatmanMy AD has a 2 tone SkyDweller with white face. I'm sort of of intrigued by this watch, in that it has a month display, 72hr power reserve, and it is a little more dressy. My AD also has a date and no date sub, and a GMT 2 tone with blue face and blue bezel. The GMT has 48hr power reserve, which I assume is an older movement.Any suggestions? Thanks!
