- I cannot attest to the functionality of this watch since I bought it to donate for a Silent Auction for a Non-fit. However, the watch is beautiful and I'm sure will be a hit.

Hi folks. This is my first visit to the forums this year, although I have been a member since 2008, just after I bought a Hamilton Jazzmaster viewmatic. The watch is a beauty and still holds a special place as my first real watch. Then, in 2009, my dad bought a Tag Carrera chrono, which he didn't like much in terms of low light visibility and gave to me. In 2012 my collection grew to incorporate a Hamilton Khaki diver. Then post graduation, marriage, job and baby happened and a quartz watch gifted to me by my wife saw the maximum wrist time. Working conditions were not ideal for a dressy automatic (hospital wards, frequent handwashing, blood, hand sanitizer, etc) and I was thinking of getting an auto diver which would not be too expensive so that I could wear it without too much worry everyday and give a good rinse when needed. I was introduced to the OM on this forum and when I saw it during a casual visit to my local dealer, I just couldn't resist. The force was just too strong. As a
Hey guys,Just a quick and dirty snapshot of the Seiko SRP029K (that belongs to my friend) and my Sawtooth. LOL I never thought my Sawtooth would look smaller.Cheers!
Ok,I will be in the USA next week and called IWC AD in Beverly Hills, they are holding the watch for me until my arrival. I need you to answer these questions for me if possible: weight : how heavy is the watch ? not even google can answer that.. comfort : I'm a Rolex guy, used to SS Submariners. Rolex bracelets are very comfortable and they keep the watch flat on your wrist. Does the Top Gun feels the same way Toughness: lets face it,beside my Timex and Suuntos,I baby my Rolex not matter how tough they are,but there's always a door frame or a desk ready out there. How the Top Gun hanldes these issues ? Will the case collect some souvenirs dings and scratches ?? lumen : I still did not figure out if the TG has any lumen,at least on the main hands. I would be really grateful to those who will post some replies. kind regards Andrea Italy
Hi all. I'm still trying to acquire my first PP while hoping to make as good a decision as I did when I bought my Rolex 16610LV over 5 years ago. I love my Submariner but have found myself enchanted with the classic looks of the 5035J or the Moonphase. I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for something along those lines that is 1) lease likely to lose value and 2) might be closer to the $10K range? Thanks!
