Piaget 12252 wrist watches news:
my new camera shows the colors correct. It looks like there is too much red. Jocke
Hi everybody!I haven't posted in awhile, but the other day I had an experience I must tell you about. I was waiting for my flight at London Heathrow, and decided to see what the AD had in stock. The female rep was very knowledgable, and started with showing a SDDS they had received the same day. "It will be gone before we close", she said. The store had the usual layout with sport watches in one display, and gold/TT in another. When I browsed the gold display, I saw the familiar ice blue dial shimmer in the middle...I asked her about the price, and it was 27,000 sterling pounds tax free. "You must try it" she said, and took it out of the display. It was a cool feeling. It was very heavy and had a wonderful finish. If I was uncertain about my grail watch before, I am now absolutely sure that the platinum DDII is the one!
Tu to everyone. I friend has an Airking from 1957 (bought that year new). The watch does says "perpetual" but he says it doesn't have an automatic system and he winds it. I thought that "perpetual" meant that it had the perpetual rotor. Is this right?
I'm new to the forum and very pleased to be here. I'm in the process of building a Hamilton collection of both the Khaki and American Classic lines. To me, there is no other watch manufacturer that produces such an unique and varied line as Hamilton. All the while doing so at such a competitive price.I visited the Hamilton site the other day and noticed they've posted the new catalog. They have it in both on-line and pdf format. It's in book form as opposed to the newspaper and it's well done.Well, again, I'm pleased to be here and hope to make a valuable contribution. Enjoy the catalog.Sincerely,KDS
