Ebel Ebel 24641 wrist watches news:
Hey guys !Yesterday at 4am me and Tiffany got up to drive to O'Hare Airport so we could fly down to Kansas City for the River Cities NAWCC Regional. We had never been to this show before so I did not know what to expect.Short flight, only about 1 hour and 10 minutes (I slept the entire way).Got a CHEAP rental car at Dollar for $14.00 but the taxes on the car rental was $15.92 (pretty funny). We jumped in our Kia Soul and headed for the nearest Waffle House for breakfast, Pecan Waffles of course !!!"The World Famous Backpack" was kind enough to stop and take a few pictures with Tiffany and with our watches for some wrist shots ! ! !After breakfast it was only about a 15 minutes drive to the show in Lenexa. The show was rather small when compared to other NAWCC Regionals as you can see from the pics.At the show we bought 4 watches and about 5 movements I think, not a lot of stuff but quality items. The "BUY OF THE DAY" was something that I have ALWAYS wanted and I got it for a KILLER price !
And with this Time King in my jeans fob pocket:
...who is interested in giving his 18yr-old son who is about to read engineering at university some type of timepiece as a graduation gift. He's always enjoyed my issue and military-style watches so the thinking was along those lines.Objectives:-Functionality and Durability-Date complication-Military style ( ideally a sterile-type look - his words, not mine )-AnalogBudget (Mom's a tough cookie!): ~$200-250Any suggestions from the sea of expertise here at Jaay and Aaay? My acquaintance feels it doesn't seem like a good call to give an 18-year old a higher-end piece (he'll save that for when his degree is complete!) and was looking at a decent-quality timepiece. Thanks pals - y'all have a nice day now ZIN
Hello, Just wondering would anyone consider buying older models such as a 2011,2012 model?I am interested in purchasing the Seiko SNAD61 or SNAD35P2 model depending on availability. One is 2011 the other 2012.Am I nuts buying something old, I really like the design and can't beat the price price but wonder if it is really worth it?Also does anyone know when this model was made Citizen BJ2040-040?(Citizen Aqualand Diver Promaster BJ2040-04E BJ2040 Men's Watch) I also like this but am struggling to find the year. Thanks to anyone who replies.
I'm about to bring this in for service and figured I might as well get a proper dial replace done at the same time. To my knowledge, the current dial is original to the watch but previous owner pulled a dunce move and had it relumed (a shoddy job in my opinion) and I'd like to get this back to near(er) original condition. Either way, I'm hoping to source an appropriate dial before I drop it off. Could you all guide me in deciding which dial to pick?
