Hi all, I've only joined this site today and I have posted in the "General Discussions" forum. However, I do have a specific IWC query that I could do with some quick assistance on.I have the opportunity of purchasing a good used IWC Der Flieger Chronograph (Model 3741) for ¡ê1200 GBP/$1700 USD.It is a private Seller and the watch has a metal band instead of the leather one.The pictures look very pleasing and I've been in communication with the Seller.I would like to know if the price above is ok or too much for a used model? Many thanks in advanceClint
I'm a vintage Rolex guy and I'm reaching out to you with the ever-popular my buddy has a watch and wants to know if it's real thread.I know a few tricks to attempt to authenticate with the two attached pics, but I flat-out struck out...I can't even find any with reference to this limited edition batch (supposedly he has 99 out of 200). What do y'all think? I appreciate the help.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
These are the two 5140p references available at ADs (or soon-to-be available):The 017 is the 2016 release, with charcoal gray sunburst dial. The 013 is the black dial with diamond markers. Is the new 017 the clear winner here? Which do you prefer and why? Thanks in advance!
I can't figure it out. Please post your favorite model.
