Breitling A4436212/g573-2CD wrist watches news:
Hello all!I saw the watch below on a certain auction site & was wondering everyone's opinions. I definitely like the looks of it, and have been thinking about adding a Vintage Omega to my collection...(Image : seller ng-time) Thanks in advance for your help gentleman!
First I'd like to say I love Speedys and have one myself. What I fail to understand is why Omega made and continues to make the crown so small and hard to get to. If a watch needs to be wound daily, you'd think Omega would make it easier to do. My Speedy, a S.E. Racing model is an auto, so I don't mind the crown being so small.Did you know you can actually buy a winder extension for a Speedy? HmmmmWhat do you folks think about the Speedy crown?
vansairforce/review/B1/B1_review.htmAbove link is what this Pilot uses his for. And you would be surprised, that it rarely has to do with Cockpit situations.I was going to buy the Emergency as that was my first choice for a Breitling. But alas, the B1 spoke to me at the AD when I first tried it on.I pretty much wear it all the time when I play deep-stack Poker tournaments. *lol*Slide rule for quick pot-odd calculations (Division and Multiplication) and Count down timer for blind schedule. It's my favourite watch for Poker.
So I will be getting bronze watch this year to add to my collection. Many have said let the natural patina take over, but really I like the shiny bronze look. How do I lock that in, any ideas on products to do that?
I just visited our local AD, C.J. Charles in La Jolla, picked up the new Patek magazine. they have 2 photos, one very large of the first ever WG Aquanaut (with date), 5168. The 5168 has rubber band and very nice blue dial, which reminds me how Rolex's blue dialed sub only comes in WG. Interesting. They did not have one in the shop (they had YG one with dark gray or black dial), but I will go back today and see the price and availability. Brandon, the main guy at the store, told me my friend Sensui still has not got his 5711 that he paid a deposit for months ago, and the waiting list for Nautilus is out of this world. For Panerai fans, Brandon said they are making a 38mm model for those with smaller wrists. Can't wait to check that out.I'll report back with any new details on the 5168. You guys should feel free to stop by the shop and pick up the free glossy Patek magazine. Also, and finally, there is a several page report on how Patek realizes the repair backlog and they are aggres
