Cartier WE902039 wrist watches news:
The super famous Tissot T-Touch line just keeps getting additions. Interestingly enough some of my most popular articles are those on the T-Touch Expert and the Sea-Touch. People love these things! Last year at Basel 2009 Tissot released a diving version of the T-Touch with the Sea-Touch, and now we will have the Sailing-Touch. Yes, the name of the models are getting less and less elegant, but the style is looking sharp, and the interesting new functions are always welcome. Interestingly, this new watch will feature a bit of a lower price as I understand it, with some luxury features as well.First let's look at the style. It is a real departure from the aggressive looks of the rest of the T-Touch line. The look is smoother and feels more like a boating instrument, but that is the point right? Here are two color varieties. Tissot indicates that initially the watch will be available with a lacquered white, navy blue, silvered, or black dial. In addition to an available rubber strap in wh
Newbie Alert! Great forum, lots of good info here, need some assistance. I've owned a Seiko Pepsi 6005 in bue since new. Stopped working about 25 years ago, been dragging it around since. I haven't worn a watch for a couple of years, but some friends have been leading me to the appreciation of a fine timepiece. Last night I brought it out to show a knowledgeable neighbor. He thought it very cool, and so it got my bug going. Today, I bought an OEM Stainless bracelet (Took mine off years and replace with velcro for diving) on Ebay, & I contacted what I assume to be a reputable repair shop. He responded quickly with a "I used to refuse these due to parts inavailability, but some are now available." Non firm quote would be $400- 450. My crystal is pretty rough, but the case is VG, and all seems to be working fine. (Other than it isn't running - stopped after I had it cleaned. Man did that **** me off!)It looks like these sell for $ 200-300. Am I nuts to spend (call it) $500
Hi I'm new to this forum and would like to ask the members for there thoughts on a problem I have.In Febuary I bought a new TAG SLR CAG2111 at a cost of nearly 3k retail, In October I noticed the hour hand had dropped out of sync by half an hour so at the top of the hour the hand indicated half past. On this watch there is no way to adjust the hand (on my classic 2000 you can) so off it went via Goldsmiths to be fixed 5 weeks later I got it back all fixed.I don't wear the watch every day so it quite oftens stops after about a day of not wearing it.2 weeks after having it fixed I set the time and put it on and went out for the evening about 11pm I checked the time and was amazed to see the same thing had happened again to say I was annoyed was an understatement.Ok I appreciate there are better and more expensuve watches on the market but I don't describe this as a cheapy and honestly expect better my classic is 6 years old and apart from 1 battery it has never failed.I have spoken to TA
Dear All,due to too much work I have not taken part to many discussion lately but I did not get better from the watch sickness...I have had for many years a very flat golden plated quartz Longines. Now, this watch was given to me by a family friend and there is no way I would sell it but "flat, golden plated, quartz" more or less describe the exact opposite of the watches I like and so I tought that I might try to do a few reversible changes in order to make the piece at least bearable to me. I have not done this before as I tought that the family friend would not have appreciated this but now she passed away so I feel I won't hurt anyone. The first thing I would like to do is swapping the original golden face for a white one. I know the same model come with both options but I have not been able to find a place where to buy a spare deal. I even contacted Longines but they said this type is out of production. Can anyone point me to any place where I could look for such an item? The second
I found a great price on both models. It is just so hard to choose!!!Both will be on the rubber strap.
