- I received this watch today and was absolutely blown away by it's beauty. This is my first purchase, but it won't be my last. I too have wrists and had to remove the extra clasps. It is still a little loose on me so I will have my jeweler adjust the links. No way, am I parting with this one!!!!

Movado Movado 7213 wrist watches news:
While my Submariner is in for service, I'm stuck wearing an old Casio divers watch I purchased 24 years ago. After adding a new battery it still works great. It too, by the way, has been a great watch. Purchased right after high school graduation, worn thru 4 years in the military and beyond. Anyway...I notice that even after 24 years the face glows significantly brighter than my Submariner does. After about 12 years +/- the Sub started loosing some of it's brightness. Normal from what I've read. My questions is why does a cheap-o $30 Casio still glow so bright after 24 years and the Rolex started to peter out after about half that time?Would the fact that the Casio was in a dark jewlery box for most of the last 17 years be the reason? Is it time or "mileage" (the actual amount of time the luminescent material is actually glowing that effects this??Just curious...I understand different watch makers use different substances for this purpose, but how could Casio afford to use a s
Sorry to barge in here like this. Hi my name is BROCK. Ive been lusting over a SMP 2254.50 for several years. Im 35 years old and never had a "NICE" watch. So the other day Im thinking ok its time to buy that SMP. Cant find one anywhere!! Can someone please direct me to an authorize dealer that still has NIB SMP 2254.50! I know there must still be some out there. I hope. I would concider a very nice used one also. Thanks all!
Getting ready to purchase my first IWC watch and my choices are between the Portofino Chronograph and the Pilot Chronograph. My budget does not allow a Port. What do you reccomend? This will not be my everyday watch, I currently have a Rolex GMT that I wear daily and occasionally a Hamilton Jazzmaster Viewmatic (great watch). Reguardless of the choice, I will go with the black band. Thanks for your input.

Mates - I'm in the process of procuring the 5575G and in the event I am not able, was curious as to opinions on the price in the secondary market. Do you think there will be a significant premium for this piece over retail ? Or do you think it will sell closer to its retail price ? Looking forward to your comments.
