Tudor 7922 wrist watches news:
Last week I posted about not buying a Breitling and also being somewhat disappointed in the Rolex, which I see a lot of since I have a close friend with a Sub and one with a Dweller. After discussing it with the boss ...she suggested, as you did too, that maybe I might want to look at several watches rather than one...well I knew I wanted one of the new Lum-Tecs as a winter beater watch so I ordered one today.Anyways since not buying the Breiltling and not falling in love with the Rolex or the Speedmaster, yet wanting a chrono, especially one that has some decent WR, I keep getting drawn to the Longines Hydroquest black face, SS bracelet. So the question what do you guys think? Good watch, bad watch. How about the brand? I am assuming it has a 7750 which is another reason I like it. My Hammy with the 7750 is such an awesome time keeper, way better than either of my Omegas (which are still my first and foremost loves), but I wonder if I just got real lucky with my Hammy?
I wanted to get some thoughts, especially if you own both. I recently picked up a blue dial 5711, and was thinking of trading in my 5167 toward a 5726a on a strap, but was concerned they might be too similar. Originally, I was hoping for a white dial 5726a on a strap, but I tend to lose interest in light colored dials it seems. Thoughts?
But not on me Here's the 537 on Mrs Van D, who's really taking a shine to Panerai. She's sat here now in OP Singapore, happily babbling away about sandwich dials, power reserve, asso straps, yada yada ya. Whatchoo think?
Just received a Ferretti strap yesterday (bought from a fellow forum member - cryshann001, who was great to deal with ).For quite some time I was thinking of a Ferretti strap, but did not find it easy, also I did not try that hard. I contacted Ferretti directly, without success and was happy to see one for sales on the forum.here are the pictures:
My wife got me a new (my first from an AD) Sub C date for my birthday back once Nov. I have been trying to come up with something to put on the back and I¡¯m not coming up with anything. You guys have any suggestions? The last one she had the idea to put ¡°Not for Sale¡± which I still traded and she¡¯s still laughs about haha see belowI thought of using 143 or 1-4-3 since it¡¯s our number (google 1-4-3 lighthouse if you¡¯re curious) Or since it¡¯s a heirloom and I¡¯m a captain I thought of ¡°Capt. And my name¡±Or something like Happy Birthday from my wife and daughters name? Total loss, I¡¯m sure some of you creative minds can do better!! Ideas ???
