By 'early' in this context I mean 1930-40s Swiss movements.I've been looking over LOTS of photos of old movements from these two companies and can't see any functional differences...in spite of the VAST difference in price.Did Swiss standards at the time mean that major companies were compelled to use the same movements with only aesthetic differences?
Hello all.I'm new to the forum. I bought this watch recently and dont know anything about it. Wondered if anyone may recognise the style, Model or reference number ?The back has is stamped with: Waterproof: Antimagnetic and Shock [ absorbent ? ] last word quite faded.Appears to have swiss hallmarks for 9ct gold on the underside of the lugs.Any help appreciatedThanksTez
