Tutima Begins Deliveries of Its Hommage Minute Repeater
In summer 2011, Germany-based Tutima, known chiefly for its modestly priced pilots’ watches, unveiled a watch-world first: the first minute repeater wristwatch whose entire mechanism was built entirely in the German watchmaking town of Glash¨¹tte. As of the beginning of this year, the company announced, deliveries of the eagerly awaited timepiece have finally begun.Tutima, a company that traces its history back to the 1920s, spent three years developing the movement for the watch, Hommage Caliber 800, incorporating several elements distinctive to Glash¨¹tte watchmaking, such as a three-quarter plate and engraved balance cock (here, with a G Clef to indicate the watch’s melodious chimes). Since the watch’s introduction nearly two years ago, Tutima has made a few small, mostly aesthetic changes. Would you buy a Speedy Pro that had a dial and hands conversion to look like a Mitsukoshi? I have the opportunity to buy one and just curious what others think about it since it would be a conversion and not an original. Price would be adjusted as well. Thanks

Rolex Submariner on Small Wrists
Hi, :)Just a quick question: Those of you with smaller wrists (my wrists are about 16.5 cm/6.5 inches, they're also flat), does the Sub ceramic fit you well? How does the clasp look on you? I'm afraid that with such small wrists the bracelet might consist more of a (huge) clasp than links, as the Glidelock clasp is larger compared to the Easylink one. Also, do you guys find it easy to slip under a shirt cuff?The salesman at an AD told me that the Sub looked to large, hence he recommended the GMT. Although one of his colleagues told me that the Sub fit me just as well as the GMT.
