Oris 581 7528 4061 wrist watches news:
What if I told you that you could get an over-sized colorful chronograph from a celebrated marque with a legendary movement and a super compressor case for under $3k. Impossible? Not with Longines’ chronograph diver.Introduced in 1969 and produced in the 70’s, this was Longines’ top sport watch. It was available in three different configurations. Black dial with white subdials at 3 and 9 and a black subdial at 6, This variant is the first execution and comes with a rotating countdown bezel. They also made it with three white subdials on a black dial with a rotating inner bezel and a fixed bezel with a tachymeter scale for water skiing. Water skiing, you say? One of the Longines’ executives must have been a fan.The Super Compressor case was introduced by E. Piqeurez SA (EPSA) in 1961. It was conceived as an improvement for the diving watch. Instead of rotating a bezel on the outside of the watch, which could get knocked about and throw your dive time off, the Sup
.......ok say there's a Gruen watch that says ..."Gruen Curvex " on the dial ......now this is the question ......if there is no co-oberating evidence on the movement , such as the name Curvex or the movement number ....such as 330 or 440 .....and is it 370 ? one of the other curvex movements? ...and I am pretty sure that the 300 is also a genuine curvex movement number .......now, without anything etched into the metal of the movement, is this watch most likely to be a re-dialed , perhaps a Veri-Thin? ......and not really a curvex at all ...?????got my eye on a Curvex so I would apprieciate a speedy answer .......thanks !

I've been circling a PM Daytona like a shark for several months, and I'm getting close to pouncing. Last time I visited an AD, he mentioned some great financing offer. I do not need the financing, but it would be a nice-to-have. (Joint bank account, optics, u spent how much on what??? factor from the SO, etc.) I'm thinking a 20-25% discount off list is a reasonable target to shoot for, ya? I expect that the AD will counter with a financing offer. Is it reasonable to ask for both. Or should I dismiss the financing offer to maximize the discount? Or does that not matter to the AD? Any advice on strategy?Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
Which of these 2 watches would you choose and why? I'm really torn between the two. I understand they are two totally different watches. I plan on wearing the watch but would also like to have it as an investment as well. I know that watches should normally not be viewed as investment items. However, in my research I have seen that some watches have a decent ROI. Thanks for any advice.
