- This is definitely on the large side for women, bably good to get a shorter band, but the watch is quite beautiful, I find myself checking the time a lot just to take another look at it.

Patek Philippe 5980 wrist watches news:
Hey GangMy buddy buys 3 pocket watches at a flea market for $25He is all excited and brings them to me at work.I shot some photos:The first photos are of the Omega (including pocket knife on chain)Then next are of the American WalthamThe last are of the other WalthamThe Waltham cases are gold filled and the Omega case appears to be sterling. The Engraving design on the American Waltham outer case is a train and is kinda nice. Can you give me a ballpark as to what these are and if they have any value. He is my buddy and I really would love to get him some help.Appreciate any general thoughtsThanks,Greg
This is a very interesting article about the watch business that was written as a thesis for an Indian University.scribd/doc/6655842/World-Watch-CaseDeals with the business structure of the Swiss and Japanese companies and explains the ownership of the American watch companies at a time just before the "Quartz Revolution" of the 1970's.Surprising that there so many typographical and spelling errors, though.Your thoughts?Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!gatorcpa
Just wondering if anyone knows more about this.Has Omega or William ever commented on his wearing a SMP?
I never thought I'd sell my 5205G. But looking back over the last two years I've been wearing it less and less, perhaps less than any other dress watch. It's undoubtedly a beautiful watch but maybe it's elegance and the shape of the case pushes me off. I intended to keep it anyways and maybe in the winter time I'd find myself wearing it more often as I think it suits darker clothing better than light summer styles. So while I've been waiting for the PT Datograph to arrive I just tried on the Grand Lange 1 in WG black dial and am really smitten. I didn't expect to like the black dial but pictures really don't do the watch justice. It just sparkles in the light, it almost feels like there is no sapphire on the case. It has a the Lange 1 casual elegance which I really dig. Just feels right on the wrist which I didn't feel with the 5205. So I'm able to flip my 5205G for the Lange and as added extra a Pam 372 or 424 too. Am I being too impulsive and should I give the 5205 some mor
Just broke the seal and purchased my first Panerai. It is the PAM00723 with the SS bracelet. Beautiful and so easy to read. I have a dark brown alligator strap and deployant buckle on order. Will post a picture soon.
