Project watch finished !........It took a while, but the waiting was well worth it ;)
Almost a month ago I made a post about this project where I was workingon a watch that uses PAM homage case, ETA GMT caliber, sapphire crystalbut I wanted the dial to have no markings and hour markets were re-lummedwith a very bright and long lasting Noctilumina:Before:After:.....I finally had the time top pick up the watch from my watchmaker this weekand here are some pictures I took this afternoon. I was wearing the watchovernight, I am pleased to report that Noctilumina is 'by far' brighter and moreimportantly LONGER lasting than Super Luminova. Hope you'll enjoy the pictures:I am very happy with the resultsThe Noctilumina illumination is excellent ! (please note that the seconds hand is NOTtoo blurry in these pics. - which would indicate a long exposure that lasts several seconds (that is often used to achieve this quality of lumme shots with Luminova dials). All 3 lumme pictures shown above have exposure under 1 second (1/3 and 1/6th) !Overall cost - including the watch with ETA

15202 vs FP Journe Chronometre Bleu
Hi all. Looking to get an opinion, as I am in the market for my next watch, and I have it narrowed down to the two in the title - AP 15202 vs FP Journe Chromometre Bleu. I wanted to go straight to the AP forum, since I know you all have strong opinions, and since FP Journe is my front runner I want to give the other side as much of an opportunity as possible.While I have a BLNR and Speedy Pro for every day wear, I am looking for a weekend watch, essentially. These two watches just feel *special* when you put them on. They can be dressed up or down, both have the blue dial, both are icons of sort (obviously the 15202 is a true icon and the Chrono Bleu is a newer icon of a modern manufacturer), are around the same price point ($22k for the 15202 vs $20 for the Chrono Bleu), etc. However, both are very different watches - one is very geometric in shape, has the date window, and is worn on a bracelet. The other is very fluid and quirky, has no date window, and is worn on a strap. However,
