At Baselworld 2013,?Christophe Claret shared with me images of a new version of the X-Trem-1 called the Pinball. The first of which will be a piece unique to be sold at the Only Watch 2013 charity watch auction event. After the auction, there may be some other color variations of the X-Trem-1 Pinball that will be offered to select Christophe Claret clients but that hans't yet been confirmed. Why "Pinball?" Well if you've noticed, Christophe himself loves gaming. There was the Blackjack 21 watch?that later evolved into the Baccarat watch, with more to come in the future. The Pinball falls along those lines. So what is different about it compared to the original X-Trem-1 aside from the flashy colors? Ultimate luxury sports watch?
I didn't really know in what section to post this, so decided to post here, what are the ultimate sport watch brands?There's Rolex of course but for me it's not a luxury brand, it's a middle high end brand, then there's Richard Mille, they could be considered the ultimate sport pieces but only one thing bothers me with them is the low WR, for me a sports watch should have at least 100m WR, apart their diver models the WR is 30m as I understand, at the same time even if the WR was 200m would you really go for a swim with a 100K or more watch? I think I would not.Then there's the ROO line, multiple choice of metals, sizes, 42 and 44mm, for me the best are clearly the ones with ceramic or cermet bezel, the unscratchable factor is for me very, very important, I got the full ceramic diver because I find it hot looking and the AP ceramic seems to be up to taking a beating and resisting it, I wouldn't have any problem swimming or doing sports with it, something I wouldn't do with my PP 5712,

Tried on the Diver!!!
So I went by an AP AD today and tried on a Diver. WOW! The guy got it out of the sealed plastic bag and put it on my wrist. I loved that feeling. No human hands had touched it after leaving LeBrassus other than the two of us. WOW!While I loved it, I wasn't expecting for the mega tapisserie to look so glossy and for the inner bezel to be so hard to rotate. Still liked it a lot.
