Omega Omega 3102 wrist watches news:
I have read about the NYC show/meet and have a question.I live in NYC and would like to visit the show/meet in May, but not as a registered participant for all 3 days. I would like to stop by for an hour. Is that possible, or is only way in is to register/purchase 3 day pass? Bob
i have a New York Standard Watch Co. pocket watch, serial number (1.09mil) puts it at 1898 to 1899 date of manufacture. it is in a keystone silveroid case, sub second hand dial, 7 jewel movement. i took it to my watch maker, and he said the jewels dont show much if any wear, but the balance staff is broken. however, he doesnt work on them anymore because parts are few and far between. i started picking around looking for parts myself, and while they arent plentiful, there are some around, but in different sizes. what should i look for to see what size balance staff i need?
Went to the mall with the family and I was sitting outside of a store where wife was shopping with kids. I was on my iPhone and all of a sudden two teenage boys stand infront of me and one of them asked me hey man do you have some job for me? I usually don't pay attention to this when someone try to strike up a conversation like this, especially when I am walking in city. However, I was sitting down so I couldn't just walk away. I just told him sorry whatever he is asking, I am busy and I am not able to help him.He continues to say you are wearing an AP (now I know what caught his attention) you must be doing something that makes money, what do you do? He must have asked what I do for 10 times. I just told him sorry cannot help you and ignored him. After several minutes they left. I was very careful when I walked to the parking lot with my family!I was wearing my 26331 ROC. What would you have done?
Im wondering if it still available brand new somewhere?
I’m looking for a diver to add to my small collection, which currently consists of a Batman and Speedy Pro... so I’ll have a diver, GMT, and chronograph. I’ll probably end up adding a dress watch as my fourth piece. I’ve narrowed my search down to a 14060, 16610, 16600, 116610LV, and 126600. My AD will be able to get me the last two within a reasonable timeframe. I sold my 116610LN after about 3 years of daily wear, so I’m looking for something different to spice things up. I don’t like the SD4K due to the way the bracelet fits the lugs, which is why I bought the sub over the SD4K despite similar price a few years back. My wrist is 7 inches, so I think I’d be able to handle the 43mm case of the SD43. One of the things pushing me towards a new watch from the AD is continuing to build a relationship, which will hopefully lead to me getting a Daytona at some point. This is how the sub fit my wrist:
