TW Steel TW73 wrist watches news:
With this?article, we are launching a new series of articles dedicated to?watch movements. In this irregular series, we will be looking at calibers that we consider to be?historically important, technically challenging and unique, or just quite simply fascinating. Today, we begin with a very close and detailed look at the?movement beating inside?the brand new?MB&F HM6 Space Pirate. We need to point out that in this series, all our attention will be dedicated to the movement (which we will always look at uncased,?and not through a sapphire case back),?and we will?not go into a detailed?discussion related to?the concept behind the watch in question ¨C as you will always be able to (re-)acquaint yourselves with it in our original hands-on articles. Without further ado, let's dive head first into the amazing world of MB&F movements and, more specifically, that of the MB&F HM6 Space Pirate. It is a?lesser known fact that inside every MB&F Horological Machine there is a bespoke
Somewhat of an open ended question, but why do you like Omega watches more so than others, what is destinctive about them? I have been seriously looking at a Railmaster, but only over the internet so far - have not had it in my hands or on my wrist yet. I have another automatic watch (O&W M4, ETA 2824 movement) that is my beater, and I love it - so much so that sometimes it is hard to remove it in the morning and put on a nicer watch for work. The Railmaster I am looking at would be for office/travel duty - I don't rotate watches much (only own a few), so this is a bigger decision as far as watches go, especially as these seem to run near $2K. Would appreciate your input. Thank you.
I purchased this from a customer. It runs very well. It is too big for me or I would keep it. I have had some advise on this piece. One guy said I would be better off the scrap it. I thought no way! What do you guys think?
The background shots are of Venice Beach and enroute shore line from and to CLW. The Seamasters seem particularly photogenic in this environment, but I might tend to have some bias.
All... please can someone clarify to me the direction you turn the crown on the movement of a 5711. My 5712 is clockwise to move time forward but have seen YouTube video showing it in an ant-clockwise direction. Please can someone confirm. Thanks in advance...👍
