- This is a nice looking watch and good value. The only drawback is the combo of the mother of pearl face (shiny) and the watch hands (also shiny). This makes it a little difficult to tell the time at a glance.

Ulysse Nardin 243-22B/391 wrist watches news:
Movado, which made headlines last year with its release of a new series of smartwatches, returns to the iconic watch design that put the brand on the map back in the mid-20th century. Here’s what you need to know about the Movado Museum Classic.Aficionados of horological history are aware of how Movado’s now-iconic Museum Watch and its instantly recognizable dial design came to be, but for those who are not, here’s the story in a nutshell. American industrial designer Nathan George Horwitt (1898-1990) came up with the idea of a simple black dial with no numbers or indices, and only a single gold dot at the 12 o’clock position, in 1946. The dot, according to Horwitt, was meant to symbolize the sun at high noon, an essential element in early timekeeping. The design was adopted for a watch dial in 1947 (a watch actually produced by Vacheron Constantin, then known as Vacheron & Constantin, and Jaeger-LeCoultre, with Movado beginning series production of the mode
Does anyone have a picture of an IWC Mark XV, etc. with the white dial? I remember seeing one on ebay some time back but can't seem to find one anywhere. Thanks in advance

Many of the posts about the discontinued Planet Ocean 2500 series watches include a letter desigination...A...B...C...D.Will someone enlighten me about the differences and how one determines the letter designation? Thanks in advance and Happy Holidays!
FinallyMy collection is complete (for now lol)After a few years into watches, I've noticed how much i have changed.Started with Rolex, then very quickly spread into other brands, omega, iwc, brietling, sinn, grand seiko..All your usual suspects. At one point it all just seem too much. I started to wonder if I am collecting just for the sake of collecting, and not buying what my heart truly desires. Having to switch between 10+ watches, winding / setting them (especially the more complicated pieces)-believe me it's a chore and definitely add more stress to daily life lol.So consolidate into 3-4 pieces then!!! like most people I looked into the big 3. VC was never my cup of tea, so it's out. Tried Patek aquanaut- yes a classic but just does not make a statement enough. It actually feel tinny when I handled it. Gorgeous movement nevertheless. Tried calatrava, nice but it's too dressy for a person who only wears shirt and suit once a year.So ended up with a 42mm white AP diver. Gee the watc
