My navitimers date is white with black writing, I saw two in my local store last weekend thathad a black date with white writing. have they changed this to blend more with the face of thewatch? Or is this just a temporary thing ?

Favorite bracelet
I love watches with bracelets. While leather can be very comfy, most bands require a break in period, which I find annoying. Help Please! (vintage Omega)
Hey Guys! I just acquired a Omega Electronic F300Hz Deville in a Vintage Items sale... It's in great condition. Only needs a new crystal. As some of you may know this watch has the Omega 1250 Tuning Fork movement. In my watch it's not working. What can be done to get this working? Can some of you Xperts help me? Do people treat you different when you wear a Rolex?
In any context and in any way? Another thread topic inspired me to make this thread. I am curious what stories you guys have to tell. For me, I can tell a difference when I am browsing around in luxury stores. I think sales associates are trained to look at your wrist. It's kinda the idea that he wears that so he can probably afford to buy something and is worth the effort. Biggest difference is at Rolex ADs though. Wear my Omega or something else, generally just get treated as a young guy window shopping. No one treats me badly but I certainly never felt like I was treated great. Now, I walk into an AD and the glance at the wrist is followed by a big smile and great treatment. At the end of the day, most people don't care but I can also tell that some people are looking whether they comment or not. For me, the best part is simply the joy it gives me and the conversations it potentially starts with other watch enthusiasts. It doesn't take long to figure out I am a massive watch enthusi
