Invicta 80058 wrist watches news:
New forum guy with very small wrist looking for new watch- something sorta sporty...
Looked at an Omega Seamaster mid size last night, but it seems too heavy for me. My current daily watch is a 39 year old Seiko Quartz 4110-8009, which my watch shop says is on its last few months. The back is very difficult to seat and fell off the last ime I had a battery change. I would like to wear something like the Seamaster, but that may be unrealistic given my small wrists and diminutive stature-5'4" 135 lbs.....Price should be <$3K, but......My dress watch is a Tissot Goldrun LDS 18K ST SLVR IND, T-713-115-31 I've had for about 10 years. It looks nice and keeps good time, but the crystal must be removed for battery replacement and my jewelry shop refuses to do it again. They ruined 3 "gaskets" the last time and now insist I send it to Tissot next time. That is a PITA and probably is expensive and takes weeks.Any ideas are welcome.

Review: Intica Six Watch Ebony Finish Display Box (pictures)
From the General Forum I hope some beginners may find this useful.Here is a small review I'm putting together for a really nice watch box I found on Amazon. No link to the site of course but it goes by the company name "Intica" and comes in four variances that I found. Ebony finish six watch holder, ebony finish four watch holder, rosewood six and rosewood four. Mine (with my Prime membership) was $153.00 with free second day shipping. Although it seems like a lot for a simple watch box, I feel after seeing it that it is worth it.Unlike most of the boxes available on Amazon with a reasonable price tag, this watch box comes with a very soft and luxurious tan velvet interior and the pillows are very flexible and the chambers or pockets are deep. I have a few large watches that I put in here and it snugly fits the watch and even on the smaller vintage watches I fit two to a pillow and they also fit with 0 movement at all. Question about the TAG Heuer name
I assumed TAG Heuer got its name from the German phrase for 'day hour'. Yet Wikipedia doesn't seem to mention this fact - they insist that it's a blend of Techniques d'Avant Garde and the founder's surname. For those of you thinking 'citation needed', here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TAG_HeuerSo...did the German phrase 'tag heuer' have anything to do with the name, or not?
