Seiko SNZF17K1 "Sea Urchin" Is Your Ultimate Submariner Styled Value Watch
For years people have enjoyed the quality of Seiko diving watches as high value "beater" watches. Meaning that many of the watches offer solid construction and looks, but with a price that doesn't warn against using them in high impact activities. This is the longest I had to wait for a watch. I ordered in Feb. of this year. I had considered the AP 15305 for quite some time in 2015 and almost pulled the trigger but they were not too easy to find. I saw one for sale from a Grey Dealer who turned out to jerk me around on the price--- telling me he had a new old stock for a bit less than original MSRP. This was what was advertised on Chrono24. Then he wrote back and said he only had a slightly used one for about 5K over the original list price. However when I heard about the newer AP 15407, I decided to wait. I guess the demand was quite high but was able to put a deposit on the last of 5-- the Las Vegas AP Boutique had coming for the year. Well I got the call last weekend and took delivery on Friday. I was hoping to get some AP goodies but did not. I was told if I send in for free 1st service during the first 3 years-- I get a 2 year warranty extension. I have not taken it out of its plastic because I was sizing the bracelet and b

I celebrated not winning the Explorer giveaway by getting this second hand Seamaster 300 from DavidSW.The previous owner has brushed the centre links of the bracelet which I prefer. In fact this gave me incentive to buy the watch as I am not a fan of PCLs.This will be my second Omega, I am very much looking forward to wearing it over the holidays.(DavidSW's image)

Hi,I have a 12 year old Seamaster which I wear every day (and sometimes at night!). My first service came about year 6 when the watch just stopped. The second service came about year 9 after unacceptable loss of time. The shop suggested that I may not be able to service the watch a third time?Is this consistent with anybody else's experience?If not, what is the life expectancy of a Seamaster?

I'm seriously considering trading my YG SubC LN and black dial Explorer II plus cash for a 5167 and AP Jumbo. For those with the 5167 on rubber strap, is there ever a need to change straps when it get hotter / colder since there is no micro adjustment?
