Hi everyone, I want to share new watch winder making by myself, I used wood, led and motor to make it, easy to do, you can see that on this youtube link as belowhttps://youtube/watch?v=ds7bIWyZZSgThank for watching!
As a newbie, I am not sure how this forum works. I was looking around, and some dealers on here are *NOT* ADs. While this may lower the price for the consumer, it is also unfortunate as watch companies will not honor warranties by dealers not affiliated with them. For example, if a consumer purchases a Rolex Sub from a non-AD, and 3 months later the watch is out of COSC specs and running -10 a day, the consumer would have to rely on the non-AD to fix the watch (and hope they know what they are doing) *if* they even offer any guarantee. Is this forum set up by non-ADs, ADs, private party? Mixture?
Recently I previewed a very beautiful Ref 3448 in white gold from 1975. A true grail watch that hides a lot of complexity beneath a very clean and simple dial and case. It was quite magical on the wrist. But it got me thinking again about Ref. 5320. Ref. 3448 has no leap year indicator but is in a 38.5 mm case. Ref. 3445 is different to Ref. 3448 as it has a leap year indicator but therefore makes the dial offcentered. The 5320 has a leap year indicator and on top of that has a day/night indicator (which although rather useless, gives the dial nice symmetry). I think in the larger case of the Ref. 5320, the leap year and day/night look good and balanced. The watch is interesting as it combines a sporty look with luminescent markers and hands, but at the same time is a very classical complication with clear vintage lineage. I look forward to seeing some incomings here in the future.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My first rolex was a 118238 with a black diamond dial, diamond bezel and diamonds on the lugs. It was bought in 2001. It is incredibly stunning and is to this day my favorite. I saw on Rolex¡¯s website the exact same watch only now the model is 118388. It looks exactly the same as mine. Did they make any improvements to the watch since then? To me, I can¡¯t tell a difference. I was just wondering. Thanks for your help :)
