1970 Speedmaster
Hello everyone,My father bought this watch in 1970. After 15 years of wearing it, he gave it to his brother, who lives in the US. After 18 years, my uncle gave it back to my father. My parents live in Spain, and the watch has been around my fathers wrist from 2003 till last night.Dingdong, doorbell rings.Long story short, my father gave me this very special watch. Needless to say, I'm the happy man! 9 years in the Spanish sun has done something special to this dial. It turned slightly brownish.

I JUST INSTALLED A NEW BATTERY AND THE F300HZ MOVEMENT HUMS!! But still no hand movement! But still happy that the movement is working!!

Flip a 5205G for a Journe?
I've never totally bonded with the 5205G black dial. Seems to have a jumbled personality. Elegant case that wears smaller than the size but with a sporty dial. Large dauphine hands which suit a dress watch but on a two-tone sector dial. From what I've seen the 5205R black works best with the lacquer dial and gives the watch a complete identity but unfortunately not for me. What say you to a trade with a little cash coming my way for the new FP Journe Octa Lune, Salmon dial. Either 40mm or 42mm. Sell my sub date for batman?
Hello all i hope you are well, i was just wondering, I've got a June 2017 116610LN sub date black, and at the time i was elated with my purchase as it was the one i always wanted. half a year on and im so so bored of it! so plain and standard! but still obviously legendary and iconic. I am thinking of selling it to buy a BLNR gmt 2 batman, what i would like to know is who would keep and who would sell?
