New Shoes on the Headwind!!
Hey everyone -I just got a new pair of shoes for my Headwind. When I bought it last month I knew I'd need the long strap, so it was pretty much already decided to get a new strap as soon as I got it. A standard strap fits me on the last buckle-hole, and I just don't like that. Also the original strap was the lighter golden brown & I wanted the darker brown.But since the watch was made in '02 when Breitling still used a 22mm/18mm strap (22mm at the watch, 18mm at the clasp) & Breitling now only sells 22mm/20mm straps I'd tried several 3rd party strap manufactures to find a strap. However, I soon found out that finding an OEM-quality 3rd party crocodile strap with the large croc-scales, in a heavily padded strap in 22/18 was very difficult. But, since a replacement 20mm 18k gold buckle is around $700 I didn't want to replace the 18mm buckle with a 20mm buckle. So I decided to call Breitling & see if they offered anything to take back the 18mm buckle with a credit towar

Hey Friends!Apologies if this has been covered. I did search and couldn't find specific info.I have a curiosity about any changes or variations made in the 15400ST, specifically from an H serial to a J serial, but all series info is welcome.I'm just wondering what changes there were if any, and if the changes are considered to be simple cosmetic differences, functional differences, and/or improvements. Pictures are of course welcome too :)Thanks very much!

Hi guysI must admit although I like the new 36mm ladies date just and the new SS sub the only other watch that interests me from the Basel fair is the Omega Planet Ocean Liquid Metal. Ceramic and Liquid Metal (Allegedly highly scratch resistant) In my dealers words whilst out in Basel - a very sexy watch indeed!!I asked him 6 months prior to the watch fair about this baby and I am told I will not be dissapointed!!! The UK retail is approximately ¡ê3000 and produstion is limited to 1948 pieces worldwide - inline with the first release of the Seamaster.Link as follows blog.perpetuelle/index.ph...ocean-is-here/I have to say it's the first watch I have been excited about for quite some time!!
