I posted this a few years back in the general discussion forum. Think here might be a better place for it. (I recently acquired a Gallet 30 minute timer/stopwatch at an estate sale that works perfectly. I am seeking any information/insight on this model as I have been unable to pin down the vintage of this stopwatch or its retail market. There is plenty of general and company info on the web but I have found nothing on the specific movement/model I have. I have found one model that is very close but not identical to mine. The Gallet I found was a decimal artillery timer/stopwatch marked Jules Racine & Co. Swiss 7seven jewels unadjusted on spare parts compartment(JXR on balance) No3364 D.R.P.388992 +No100230 on bridge. Which one is your favourite Speey Pro Limited Edition from the past ?

2221.80 for Wall Street
Would it be ok to get the Omega 2221.80 for every day wear on Wall Street? Or would it be smarter to get the 212.30 version? I'm just worried that the blue is not conservative enough. Sorry if some of you think that this is ridiculous but I am serious. I like both watches a lot but like the blue a touch more but I don't want to get it it may draw negative attention.

I've always thought it was a shame to not make some use of these beautiful boxes and this one sits pride of place in my home office. I've carefully removed the lining and filled it full of bits and bobs. does anyone else make use of there boxes at all??regardsdarren
