Hamilton H32816331 wrist watches news:
Fake watches are scary and plentiful, great original watches are beautiful but scarce – this is why we keep you up to speed in our weekly edition of Bring A Loupe. However, a weekly column isn't enough to flag all the offenders and we see countless bad watches sell each week. Sometimes, however, we see one that is so offensive, and in this case, so expensive, that we just have to dedicate an entire story to it here. A watch listed right here on eBay is supposed to be a rare Patek Philippe. It is, of course, not at all a Patek Philippe, but that doesn't prevent it from having a price of over $18,000 right now, with two more days to go.I will not only expose the parts that make this fake the worst buy you could ever make, but also the general attitude that I recommend having when hunting for a watch. My motto: only the paranoid make good collectors. When It Is Too Good To Be True Finding an amazing watch for a bargain is like looking for water in the desert: th
I posted this a few years back in the general discussion forum. Think here might be a better place for it. (I recently acquired a Gallet 30 minute timer/stopwatch at an estate sale that works perfectly. I am seeking any information/insight on this model as I have been unable to pin down the vintage of this stopwatch or its retail market. There is plenty of general and company info on the web but I have found nothing on the specific movement/model I have. I have found one model that is very close but not identical to mine. The information dates it to WWII era. Mine is marked Jules Racine & Co. Swiss 6six jewels 1one adjustment on spare parts compartment (no JXR on balance) No3364 D.R.P.388992 +No100230 on bridge. The dial is (near mint) porcelain enamel, hands are blued (looks to be

Would it be ok to get the Omega 2221.80 for every day wear on Wall Street? Or would it be smarter to get the 212.30 version? I'm just worried that the blue is not conservative enough. Sorry if some of you think that this is ridiculous but I am serious. I like both watches a lot but like the blue a touch more but I don't want to get it it may draw negative attention.
I've always thought it was a shame to not make some use of these beautiful boxes and this one sits pride of place in my home office. I've carefully removed the lining and filled it full of bits and bobs. does anyone else make use of there boxes at all??regardsdarren
