Longines L2.257.4.57.6 wrist watches news:
Several weeks back I asked for help in deciding on a dial color for a new field auto chrono. I was looking forward to a 42mm brown dial for my 40th birthday, but have been unable to locate one. I am going with the black dial for my first Hammy. I have talked to Hamilton and they say the 42mm brown dial is not available here. (in the U.S.) I have found the 38, but I think it is too small for my taste. I was just curious to know where the other forum members found their brown dial chronos. They are availabe overseas, but with the exchange rate....It has been frustrating to have different information from Hamilton, the catalog they sent me, and AD's, some of whom don't seem to know very much about the current Hamilton line.
I was just wonderingsince this works for most other industries and items - electronics, cameras, etcAnd I am not talking affordable watches - how about $5-10k pieces? Skip all the comments on commitment issues and people who don't know each other. I am sure there is a way to take care of this - GroupOn seems to workSo, imagine a scenario: I like watch X; I post and roll 20 or 50 other folk who want it. What sort of discount can one score at an AD/Retailer if you ask to buy 20 or 50 watches of the same model?
I can't believe I haven't posted here yet. I traded my 15300 last month for a 15400. Both watches have their respective positives and negatives, but in the end, I really like the larger size and the black dial on the 15400. Here are some photos of both.
Am I the only one that seems to think the 16013 is an under rated rolex. There seems to be lots of discussion about other models but not much about this model. I wear daily pretty much and find it absolutely the most comfortable. Any others feel this way.
