- I was so excited to receive this watch. The face is wonderful and I love the soft colors in it BUT no matter how I looked at the watch, I could not read the time. IF ONLY the watch part was clearer I would buy it in a second.

Maurice Lacroix LC6063-SS002-110 wrist watches news:
I have a Longines Conquest Titanium watch I purchased in the early 90's. Someone may be interested in purchasing it so I was checking to see if it worked properly as I haven't used it in years and to be honest have never used the chronograph function of the watch. After using the chronograph function and resetting the watch by pressing the "B" button (according to the illustration in the operating instructions)- the 12 hour counter, the 30 minute counter, and the 1/100th sec hand return to the "zero" position but the chronograph seconds hand does not. Is the chronograph seconds hand supposed to realign itself to the "zero" position after I reset it or does it simply remain in the same position after stopping the chronograph and returning to "regular" mode. Thanks for any responses in advance.Image 1.jpg
Okay, I know it is probably impossible to diagnose a problem with a watch without ripping its guts out, but I'm just about at my wit's end with my Movado Eliro. It's been in and out of the shop a couple times for the same problem, and nothing seems to work.It will keep time for awhile, and then stop. I'll pull out the crown and push it back in a couple times, and it will work again, occasionally for days on end, before it stops again. I don't understand how it will keep good time for awhile, then stop entirely, only to start working again, keeping good time.It is not the battery (changed it a couple times). Any ideas?
I submitted a thread yesterday about the white dial automatic Marina Militare I had aquired . Nice watches, and better leather straps than I am used to for this type of watch. These are the three watches I received. The web site doesn't say much about the movements, so I sent an email asking if they would tell me more about the movements in the watches. I was curious. The white dial automatic, model MD-033 on the site, is built around the Mingzhu model 3809 movement. Mingzhu is somehow associated with the Guangzhou Watch Company. I learned on the web that the Mingzhu 38XX series movements are basically a clone of the Miyota series 8200 movements. It also has decent lume.I also bought the GMT II automatic, model MD-041. This watch is also built around a Mingzhu movement. This time movement model 3804. The GMT hand is independant for setting to a different time zone. And a lume shot. The last watch is model MD-061, a Regatta model Power Reserve Automatic. This one is built around Sea-

I have two vintage Omega watches and was curious if anyone had any specific knowledge of the approximate vintage and or model number for the watches. #1 - purchased years ago#2 - from grandfather - guessing from the 50's?? - obviously needs a correct strap - taking suggestions for a good source! thanks.
