May I ask you what's your opinion on the new models from Seiko showed here? I honestly expected something betterThe new manual winding caliber is nice but it is not impressive, only some 50h reserve and nothing really new. The minute repeater is ugly as hell. Premier, Sportura etc seem to be either very similar to what existed or worst. For example, what's the point of a new premier with part of the movement exposed, 40h reserve and 2Hz movement when the previous auto offer was so much better? Really I am a bit disappointed this time.GLF

Hello, Pardon the simplicity of this question...I am curious as to where these watches are generating massive monetary value. I understand materials, craftsmanship, and precision come into play, but it seems like AP's lower end models are leaps and bounds ahead of many other luxury brands as far as pricing goes. What do you guys think of it? Thinking about trading my Datora up for a 47.... I like the beefier size on my wrist (I'm 6'2, 8 wrist). But I'm not sure. My AD wants 6700 for it (roughly 10% off msrp). Is that decent or should I shoot for a better discount?On the other hand... also been considering a Cal 01. I'm on the fence.... Hey guys,I just got my Pam 111 back from service in Toronto. At first I thought that everything was perfect until I noticed that they brushed the lever pin on the crown guard, which is supposed to have a polished finish. I know that it is a very small detail and I also I know that if I bring it back to them, they will likely have to send it to the service centre again just to polish it. My question is, would this bother any of you? Is it worth sending it back for a while just to have it done properly? I attached a before and after picture for reference.
