Well, it looks like I just pushed my Limes way further into the future, but this was love at first site. This will be my mintiest vintage yet. Seller description and pics for now; with almost 3000 sales and a rating of 99.9%, I keep my fingers crossed!Presented is a very nice example of the solid 14K yellow gold circa 1940's Hamilton "Gilbert" model with a great classically styled case, very nice dial and high grade freshly cleaned movement. The case, which I feel is pretty nice, particularly considering it's a 60+ year old watch, features a neat pseudo hinged lug look and the profile is nice and thin, making for a terrific looking dress watch. It measures 35mm long by 21 1/2mm wide, not including the crown and is marked on the inside "Gilbert Hamilton Watch Company Lancaster Pa. Wadsworth 14K Gold" and "W 14K Gold" on the outside. Omega Seamaster 300GMT or a used Panerai?
Hey Fellas,I've been eye-ing the 300GMT for quite some time now and have been putting some money away on the side for one. I was planning on making the purchase through watchuseek's forum AD which saves me considerably. Now, I just began looking at the Panerais and have been very intrigued. They are rather large at 44mm and is borderline on my wrist, but they still look very cool and are quite a bit different from the watches I have now. I have a Rolex Sub Date and a Tag Monaco ala Mcqueen in blue with croc band. Lately, I've been smitten with the band...So, a brand new 300GMT or spend quite a bit more on a pre-owned Panerai?

I'm not sure if this has been discussed. I've been on the hunt for a blue face 5711. The watch seem almost perfect...except for the date. I feel that the watch would be better looking, more symmetrical, without the date.Does anyone else feel this way? If you had the option to get the 5711 with no date, would you?
