- Watch winders can easily go for thousands of dollars, this dual winder not only has a great price, it is made to last and has a silent motor, which alot of other winders are not.

Michele MWW03M000192 wrist watches news:
Thanks in advance to Idrive and Bisquitlips for pushing me over the edge last week(grin). A little bit of thanks goes to John as well with his photos on the Rolex Reference Page. I finally broke down and purchased a 16613. I found a mint pre-loved F series that is near flawless. I had never given this Rolex much thought until last year about this time when I couldn't decide between it and the Yachtmaster S/P. I went with the Yachtmaster and liked it alot but after what I thought was the right decision I could never get the 16613 out of my mind. There is just something hypnotizing about the blue of the dial mixed with the yellow gold that captures the imagination.Sorry for the picture, it can't hold a candle to some of the other pictures on this forum but it is the best I could do for the time being. I just figured out how to post pics tonight. I think I should spend more time taking pictures of watches instead of buying them.
Hello!I'm relatively new to your group....Several years ago, I became aware that my great grandfather must have been something of a WIS. Sharing the trait, my mom has given me all of his collection...which includes several Hamilton/Elgin/Waltham pocket watches and surprisingly for the late 20s/early 30s quite a few wrist watches. They both run pretty well (although a service is definitely in order). I particularly would like to wear a couple of the Hamilton wrist models: A white gold Coronado A yellow-gold StanleyI think both would look good on a relatively plain black leather strap...but was wondering what the folks on here would recommend? Is there a great source for NOS Hamilton straps? Thanks,John in San Antonio
My Victorinox Swiss Army watch, from the Classic Infantry line, #241376 arrived this afternoon. Let me just say, the pictures online simply do not do this watch any justice. I can't stop looking at the dial! Here's the specs: Stainless steel case 44mm 330 feet water resistance 13mm thick front crystal Sapphire, treated with anti-reflective film rear crystal is mineral dial-engraved and sunburst effect movement: Mechanical ETA Unitas 6498.1 17 jewels 18,000 VPH power reserve 46 hours made in Switzerland lugs 23mmI hope you don't mind, but I'll just repost my first impressions straight from my blog. The case is brushed, but a thin band around the bezel is polished. That treatment is subtle, but very noticeable. The dial is outstanding. Fitting with the name of the watch, which contains classic and vintage in the title, the dial definitely has the retro look. The color of the dial, to me is a very bright cross between hunter green and olive drab. T
It happened this Tuesday before the Inside Basel Watch Time event here in Chicago. One of my lifetime dreams! A truly private meeting by myself with the head of Audemars Piguet for Latin America. I was like a little kid at a candy/toy store. After an hour and half drooling over all the pieces that I was able to try on, I came out with a few items on my AP wish list. No wonder why I love this brand so much!!! The best part is that all watches were 'stickers-free' so the experience was really awesome!!! The FC Diver is just amazing and I definitely want one. The one that I tried on was serial No. 0002. Just crazy! The new Royal Oak Jumbo is to die for. Not sure which one I like better, the SS or the Gold one. I was also able to try on the Royal Oak Equation of Time plus many other big time grails like the Royal Oak Skeleton Perpetual Calendar, the Millenary 4101, a Tourbillon, etc. I think I also want the ROO RG 44mm, it fit like a glove and it's just a dream. Enjoy the pictures!!!
Haven't seen any on the forum would love to see some wrist shots especially with the steel bracelet.
