I finally have my favorate Longines back from Geneva - its a pity it has to go back!!Truely the golden age of watch making for Longines - they should return to their roots and make some hommage peices - they made so many fantastic chronographs!!!
I fell in love with this once I stumbled on it via AP's website. How do these wear?Do they begin to yellow out?Scratch prone?Any pics or advice would be most appreciated
Hello,I'm a long time lurker and a relatively new member here on TRF! I've made my way over to the Patek Discussion Forum a couple weeks ago and have been wanting a Patek since then . I'm currently in Seoul, South Korea visiting my parents and stumbled across a BNIB 5146 Platinum at a local vintage watch market for around $56,000 USD at today's exchange rates. It seems like a good deal considering the watch's MSRP is $68,700 USD, right? I'm an extreme newb to watches, especially Pateks and would love any advice or opinion you guys could give me. What should I be looking for/asking? I'm not worried about the authenticity of the watch as the dealer is a very established (~30 years) specializing in Pateks. Thanks for your help!
I just purchased a RubberB for my Black Bay and now I¡¯m looking for a deployant clasp, preferably OEM. I¡¯ve seen a few on eBay for about $55 that are being sold (from Latvia and Israel with free shipping ) that have the Tudor logo and look authentic but are probably knockoffs. I can¡¯t believe that an OEM clasp would sell for that price. https://m.ebay/itm/18-mm-Stainle...IAAOSwAQBauF20Should I contact Tudor directly or a Tudor AD and would they sell me just the clasp without an accompanying leather strap or should I take a chance with eBay? All comments are welcome especially from anyone who has sourced a deployant clasp, whether OEM or aftermarket.
Interested in a new date just and for the life of me I can't find the page with pictures of all the available dials. I am most looking for the DJ 41 mm with Roman Numerals or possible numbers.
