Seasonal deviation
Since I got my 2200.50 last May it has reliably gained 0.23 - 0.30 seconds per day. This will be its first winter and over 15 days ago I noticed it started to lose 1 second per day. So, on January 1st, I reset my PO in accordance with Time.Gov and up until January 9th it was losing 1.2 seconds per day. Today I just re-checked it and it is losing 0.67 seconds per day. I am not concerned at all since it is still keeping excellent time. I just think it is interesting the effect the season has on the caliber. Anyone else notice their Omega doing something similar?-JB

December Incomings!
Well I know half the world is still in November - but let's give the USns and Canucks a 6-12 hour headstart on the month.So post all those incomers here!47 to beat from last month. Will we do it? Will Mrs davemcc be showered in ladies models just so we can get the numbers up? Will Australia ever beat England in cricket ever again? Who knows! For me it will be a month of 7 returns from the watch doctor; really looking forward to seeing them looking beautiful and ticking like champions. Oh, and maybe one rare little number from one of my new best friends.So, as Rusty says, Happy Hamilton Hunting!Your time starts.......NOW!!!!

Help - does anyone know which model this is?
Hello,I've just received a second-hand IWC timepiece from a very wealthy family member for my birthday (thanks, Uncle Tom!). However I only received the watch on it's own, not any supporting paperwork/box etc.Does anyone recognise this model? I believe the wristband is titanium - very light and dark grey in colour. I can't seem to find it on the iwc website or via google searches.Lastly, I was surprised that I couldn't find a model number on the back - I've been assured it was a real watch but wanted your thoughts before I take it into an authorised dealer (needs a new battery) - i.e. mitigate potential embarrassment if it is obviously not genuine!Photos attached.Look forward to your thoughts...Many thanksDan

New Shoes!
After buying a number of watches that either came without straps, or with old or too-long straps, or with not-quite-right bracelets (curved ends with a square watch? Really?), I finally broke down and bought a couple lots of straps, in 18 and 19mm, to refit a bunch of watches I haven't been able to wear.This is my first cut at matching colors/texture to individual watches.
