Montblanc 102377 wrist watches news:
Less than?a day before Apple?debuts their highly anticipated?Apple Watch and?presents its full details, high-end Swiss watch manufacturer H. Moser & Cie?wanted to have their say about the whole smartwatch craze. The message is that smart watches have been around not for a few years but in fact for centuries ¨C and, dating back to 1828, they claim they are one of those manufacturers who have been producing them for so long.?The vehicle carrying that message is the beautiful ¨C and indeed very smart ¨C?H. Moser & Cie Endeavour Perpetual Calendar Funky Blue, now available in white gold with a stunning blue dial.In their video accompanying this message, Moser takes a stab at presently available smartwatches by highlighting their greatest and most frequently encountered shortcomings: complex interfaces, poor ergonomics, and limited autonomy. In all fairness, smart wearables have been improving ceaselessly?over the last couple of years ¨C although it is true that there is yet to be one
As much as I love GMT complications, I have to say that the name for this one is just silly. "Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon Magnate GMT." Four proper names plus GMT suffix? That said, the watch itself is pretty nice looking. I'm not fond of the Rolex-style cyclops over the date, though some quite like them [Ed. note. You'll see some hands-on images I took with watch here. I believe that the magnifier crystal is actually reverse mounted (inside the crystal) so as not to stick out of the crystal]. The fixed bezel is less useful than a rotating one, but on the other hand it's filled with luminescent paint for a cool look in the dark. The textured and detailed dial has good balance and attains the not-too-busy look a good dress watch. The dark green GMT hand lurks in the visual background, behind mirror-polished hour and minute hands and the signature second hand with Ball logo counterpoise. Overall a good looking watch, with the bulked-up look Ball produces. The bracelet is a variant on the cla
Anyone seen this one before. I'm trying to order one from Japan. Nice review at another watch site (hope this is ok to post)http://forums.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?t=261181 David
Hi,I am far away from a PP dealer, so not able to see models 'live' as easy as some of you. Could I get owners of the 5146 to take some side shots, and comment on how high the watch sits on the wrist - perhaps compared to other pp models or other brands? ThanksSent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
I'm leaning towards the one with the sunburst blue dial. Not sure that I care too much about box and papers. I'd be buying the watch to wear, not as an investment. I'm more concerned about authenticity and condition. Also, I've never that a watch that large on my wrist so I'm wondering how it will fit/look. Finally, I'm a schlubby guy, not flashy at all. I have a Datejust TT that I don't feel conspicuous wearing. I'm concerned the TT Submariner will be too flashy for me, but darn I like the look of it.
