- Beautiful watch - I do love it. The only drawback is that the face is really tiny and hard to read.

Most of you will probably gasp, but I gave away my first GMT and my Explorer II.The GMT went to my brother and the Explorer II went to my Step dad. They both can afford them, but would never buy one for themselves.I guess I wanted them to have something special and feel the same for Rolex that I do. Hard to put into words actually. It felt really good and seeing the look on their face made it worth while.I can only wear one at a time!I kept the GMT-IIc for myself. The Sub or SD will be my next one in a few months.Call me crazy, but I would do it again!
My watch: Citizen Men's BL8000-54L Eco-Drive Calibre 8700 Perpetual Calendar WatchPer the recommendation of "bio" i wanted to post a query to the experts in the Asian watch forum (as it seems you all would have the most expertise). The issue I'm having with this particular Citizen is its not working; is there anyone here that has had a similar experience or can at least diagnose the problem based off of my following poor description? When I pull the crown out to position two (controls the time) the minute, second, or hour hands do not move. When the crown is in position one (controls the date/time/alarm/calendar) the date/time/alarm/calendar selection is the only thing that moves. Again, I tried charging it for hours and no results, I took the back off with my repair kit and it looks like nothing I'd ever know how to fix. Most recently when I opened my safe when light hit the Citizen it made a scratching metal sound (the one I hear several times an hour when looking at it). I thought it w

I just bought a couple of Swatch automatics and they have some really cool, funky, padded leather bands. One is like running show webbing with yellow piping on the outside and untanned leather on the underside. When I wear it, no surprise, it gets darker on the inside from sweat. Which lead me to think, is it better to wash it in cool water, maybe with a mild soap, or just let it air dry and not worry about sweat stains on the inside? What about when the outside (cloth) starts to darken? Surface wash? It's so confusing. All watches are water resistant enough to survive a quick dip in the sink, but the bands? Thanks!
