One for the Ladies ! ! !
I just got this 1950 Ladies Bulova back together today. This one kind of got side tracked but my anniversary is coming up in about a week so I got my butt in gear. I did this one for my fianc�� Tiffany, she loves the antique watches that I work on so I fixed one up for her. The 21 jewel movement is keeping great time now, new glass crystal, original band and I just had the dial refinished. The dial was in pretty bad shape when I bought this Bulova so I sent it to International. Now that I have taken some pictures I see that I still have some crystal cement to remove around the edges and a few more scratches to remove as well. All said I am pleased with the way it turned out. Think she'll like it ? ? ?

When I was looking for an example of my Hamilton watch I "won" yesterday, I found one like it on the bay, with AShland Investments .....and they had this Watch condition grading guide ...that they got from someone in Switzerland ....so I am not sure if we can keep it or not......But it is far and away the most detailed method of grading watches I have ever seen ......( for what that's worth ) anyway .....ashlandinvestment/GRADING.html

I'm getting a curious feeling that I'll be sticking with this one for some time.

Can't decide... Rolex or GS?
Am thinking to get either a Rolex GMT2c or a Grand Seiko (the GMT SBMG003 or maybe the dressy classic white or cream dial ones ideally with blue hands). The Rolex & the GS both cost about the same I think; or the GS might actually be a bit cheaper.If you had to choose one over the other for yourself which would it be? I know I should get the one that speaks to me but I can't decide. Also I would be lying if I said it didn't matter to me what kind of social signals each sends out (which are? - I'm not sure).
