- I received the black watch with topaz crystals. Watch was a good quality but the crystals were very dull. I have alot of Heidi Daus pieces but this one just didn't do it for me -- returned the same day I got it!

Movado 1850 wrist watches news:
Shinola has just announced (today) a new type of watch collection it calls the "Great American Series." The first model is The Wright Brothers Limited Edition, and more on that in a moment. The purpose of the Great American Series is to celebrate American inventors, innovators, and all-around important folks. It is a brilliant marketing concept and makes total sense coming from a brand that somehow was able to make it cool to have watches produced in Detroit based on the name of an old brand of shoe polish. In addition to two different versions of The Wright Brothers Limited Edition watch there will be a limited edition bicycle. Why a bicycle? Well, given the fact that I did multiple book reports on the Wright bothers in elementary school I know why. Orville and Wilbur Wright had a bicycle store in their home town of Dayton Ohio. They later went on to play around with the world's first flying airplane, but they still really liked bikes. Their store was called the Wright Cycle Exchange (
Rolex. For Life's Defining MomentsYeah, babyIs this a men's YM or the Mid Size in this ad? It looks like mine, the men's, though it's probably not. Love this ad, probably because I have the watch and love the watch. Who knew? The YM - A "Fantastic" watch :o)
On the Friday nite internet preview of the local auction, this box peaked my attention so I figured I best check it out Saturday in person-Got there with plenty of time to check things out with the box ( a whole nuther story) and saw that there is 10 pockets in the showcase that were from the same box-on a 10 minute preview I opened em up and checked them out, made my picks and went for it-End result, I had choice of the watches and took this one- a Hamilton 992 from around 1910Brutal case and the dial's got some hairlines, but after all is said and done, with tax, buyers premium, buyer #($1), and gas to drive the 56 miles to town and back, I'm still under $60.00 on this one- And had some fun to boot!Reminds me of the olden days...............
Any recommendations on an alternate strap for the Rolex GMT BLNR Batman? Thanks in advance.
Hi there,Looking for advice please. See pictures below. Bought a datejust 5 months ago and took it back to the jewelry store to move a link. The person that worked on it deformed the screws, scratched the links and left a screw partially out. The store manager wants me to bring it in and said they can probably buff the scratches but that will not be acceptable in my opinion. What do you think? Thank you.
