Omega 231.10.30.61.56.001 wrist watches news:
I was just wonderingI have been recently offered for my Daytona 16523 a trade on:1) Porsche 928s year 1984 or2) Piece of land..Declined both offers but it made me just wonder if any of you guys have had this type of offers before?
It was a very hot and humid day in Tokyo; but I am glad I decided to venture outside because I saw the new DEEPSEA.I guess I'll have to revise my opinion of the DEEPSEA. I saw it; I wore it; I liked it. I was ready to hate it; but I was stunned by how much I liked the watch. In my opinion, the "Original Gas Escape Valve" (etc.) writing blends in well. In photos, it stands out; but on my arm, to my eye, the writing was just a subtle (yes, subtle) part of the watch. In fact, I kind of liked it.I could spend a lot of time describing it poorly, but instead here are my barely adequate photos. The DEEPSEA in the shop window has the plastic bezel protector on.In three photos, you can see it side by side with my GMT IIC. In two of those photos, I think you can see that from a distance, the writing is not much more "in your face" than the "Rolex, Rolex, Rolex" on my GMT II. Or, at least that's the way I saw it. The AD (the only one I know of) told me the DEEPSEA was released in Japan on 1 August,
I picked up these 3 Wilshires, because nobody should have just one. I almost bought a 4th, but had to restrain myself. As it is, I had to fight off Dennis as he was trying to drive a wooden stake through me I pulled out a big hammer and he ran off yelling about getting silver bullets. Anyway, I have save space for when the other great Wilshire dials show up. I think this bracelet is pretty dang cool and was happy to get it with one of these.
Why it pays to clean your watches:Last update: August 15, 2008 - 11:59 PMDNA on this woven cloth watchband pointed to Swaney. Richard Tsong-Taatarii, Star Tribune In Luverne, Minn, the 2001 killing of 20-year-old state park worker Carrie Nelson wasn't just a homicide. It was the homicide the first in Rock County in at least 30 years. People felt violated, their security shattered. For seven years, townspeople say, they waited for justice for Nelson, her family and the community. It came early Friday when a jury convicted Randy L. Swaney of killing Nelson while robbing the safe of the office where she worked at Blue Mounds State Park.Officials say the case was finally solved thanks to forensic science and the stubborn refusal of local and state investigators to give up until they traced DNA from a broken wristwatch at the murder scene to Swaney, who had since been imprisoned in South Dakota for car theft and burglary.
Hello everyone. I¡¯m new to the Rolex world and have been doing a bit of research. I would like to begin building a relationship with a local AD. I¡¯m looking for recommendations in Louisiana and possibly the Dallas Fort Worth area as well as Austin Texas. I¡¯m in DFW and Austin 4-6 times a year. New Orleans and Baton Rouge are a short ride away as well. Has anyone dealt with anyone in particular that they would recommend? I¡¯ll be purchasing an 116610LN within the next few weeks. Heading down to New Orleans this weekend and intend on visiting a few ADs there. Thanks for any help.
