Omega Omega 5420 wrist watches news:
Hello Everyone,I am seriously considering purchasing a 2254.50. My wife will be traveling to Miami in a couple of weeks. I was wondering if the 2254.50s are still available at AD? If so, any idea of the price, I know the official price is USD 2,300, but I have seen prices on ebay around 1,900.Best
Can anyone out there tell me which models now feature the blue lume? I was thinking about picking up an Explorer II this week. It's been in my AD's case for over a year though. If newer Explorers have the blue lume then I would ask my AD to order a newer one since his current inventory has green lume.ThanksSmokin
Hi All:Is there any way one can extract the actual manufacture date of Omega watch from say like the serial number.I was interested in find this out on my recently purchased Speedmaster Day/Date 3222.80Thanks
I suppose one first has to recognize the traits of WISdom. It's that insatiable need to place watch and watch talk ahead of almost anything else. The need to look at another Omega after you've just purchased one or the close intensity by which you study a watch so you spot all the finite details and a possible attempt to impress your friends is greeted with the advise that you should get a life Oh did I say too that you spend a lot of time in a place like WTF So pals, when did you first realize you were a WIS?Y'all have a nice day now ZIN
I want to get a traditional looking chrono, bi-compax, but with more modern dimensions. At this point, I am between the Girard Perregaux 1966 Chrono, or the AP Jules Audemars Gstaad Classic. The GP is 42mm and the AP 41mm, so not much difference there. Both have in-house movements, with an add-on chrono module, so again, both are similar there. Besides the looks of the watch, it comes down to what you get for your money. For about the same price, I can get the Girard Perregaux in 18K gold, but besides the brand not being up there with AP, the movement is not as nicely finished as the AP. The AP on the other hand is Titanium (vs 18K), but has a nicer (better?) movement ticking inside. This particular GP has been discontinued, just like the AP, and both can be had at a very good discount BNIB. Which would you choose?
