Omega 123.25.27.20.57.001 wrist watches news:
The Weiss Watch Company has an ambitious goal: to design, manufacture, and assemble a mechanical watch not just within U.S. borders, but within the tighter parameters of Los Angeles County. Can an area known more for media moguls and perpetually flawless weather support a mechanical wristwatch supply chain? The answer is yes (with the exception of movement production – for now). The Weiss Standard Issue Field Watch is the first offering from this young start-up, and while it isn’t a full-on grand slam, there are a number of characteristics that make this a compelling option for anyone looking for a solid, casual-wear watch under $1,000. 2 OF 10 The company’s namesake founder Cameron Weiss knows a good bit about watchmaking. After becoming a WOSTEP Certified Watchmaker, he trained at both Audemars Piguet and Vacheron Constantin, unarguably two of the most respected watch manufactures in the world. In addition, Weiss is a certified CNC programmer, affordin
The Atmos clock is one of the essential timepieces made by Jaeger-LeCoultre, and, at least among horological enthusiasts, it's also probably the single best-known clock in the world. The first prototype was built in 1928, by an engineer named Jean-Léon Reutter (a resident of Neûchatel). The Atmos was not the first clock to be wound by changes in the atmosphere around it; clocks powered by temperature or air pressure changes go back to the 17th century, when the very first known was invented by Cornelius Drebbel. (Drebbel, an impressive polymath, is remembered today for inventing the first navigable submarine, but he also invented an early working air conditioner, different types of thermometers, one of the first compound microscopes, and, of all things, a chicken egg incubator.) The oldest pre-Atmos clock still in existence is the so-called Beverly Clock, which has been running since 1864 more or less continuously without ever having been wound manually. 1 OF 6

with how crazy the 5711 market has gotten have any of you considered trading to something different? i doubt id actually do it but iĄŻm tempted seeing how you can get a 5235 or 5205 etc for just a bit more cash. dumb idea when the dealers are telling me iĄŻm wearing the one everyone wants already but fun to think about.
Hey everyone, new to the forums here!So I just turned 25 and have been Ą°windowĄ± shopping to figure out what Rolex I want to pull the trigger on. Initially I was glued to a black SS submariner date, but started to wonder once I really started to do my research. I fell in love with a Daytona and new it would take at least a year or two to get one from my AD, so decided to go in and start the process. He actually had one in the back (obviously already sold) and let me try it on. DonĄŻt get me wrong, it is an amazing watch and I could totally see myself getting one, but actually fell in love with the rhodium yachtmaster. Which leads me to this week: my AD called me and asked if I wanted to come in again. I asked what his best price would be because this all started when I was planning on purchasing the Daytona (which would be at least another year). He came back with $10.3k cash.Is this worth pulling the trigger now? My worry here is if I donĄŻt how long it would take to get one when I
