Girard Perregaux 7000 wrist watches news:
So with my 13 year wedding anniversary coming up (May 10th) my wife gave me the green light to go ahead and buy a new watch. I had my eye on a Tissot but decided to check out one of our sponsors websites(Gnomon, Incorporated Home Page) and started scoping out the offerings¡.came across the brand Dievas and was REALLY intrigued¡then I came across the Phantom and I was HOOKED. What a great looking watch and what a ton of value for the money. I¡¯ve lusted after Ball watches with their self powered Micro Gas lights but their price point is just a bit out of my range¡never thought I¡¯d be able to get a watch with that type of feature. But when I saw that I COULD with Dievas I was definitely excited. And a sapphire crystal too boot! I'm already looking for a particular watch to dream about and save and build for. I don't really need to save for a watch in this range, but I have no reason to buy anything (yet) because the Breitling doesn't leave my wrist (still). The type of watch I'm looking for should look best with a black strap (non NATO or ZULU) bracelet would be fine standard, but I'd like to have a strap too. I'm looking in the range of $600 to $1200. Things that I'm looking for.1. Swiss Made auto or Swiss Made manual wind (either is find, I might prefer manual)2. Guilloche (my favorite) or sub seconds3. I like a "reserve de marche" complication so I can see how much "juice" is left4. If the watch has an exhibition case back I'd like a decorated (preferably non-unitas) movement.5. Chronometer preferred but is unlikely at this price point so it is not necessary.6. I would only like White, Silver, or a Black dial that would look nice with a dress shirt.7. I'd like a brand that I can recognize and carries some r
I have a TAg Heuer Prototype case from the early 90's which had a Quartz Ronda movement in it. Some of you may have heard of the RLT 29. I would like to put an automatic movement in there and wondered what would fit, if any or am I stuck with quartz?Across the case is 40mmDepth from top of crystal to base of case back is 11.5 mmAlso has a tag Screw down crown (which I have)Thanks for your suggestions
Spent a few very enjoyable hours yesterday trying on various models and ended up with this one. Now looking for new straps for it
Hey guys, was in the AD today and the only sport model they had was a black DSSD if you're looking for one.
