- For the money, this watch has it all. Good looking, thin, comfortable and functional. I have two other Wenger watches. This one is my favorite.

Invicta 1945 wrist watches news:
HiHere is another Bennie I brought back to life. It was thrown in with a Bulova Alden I picked up. The dial was covered with rust and dirt, and the movement didn't run. I cleaned the case and dial, put in a Balance from a donor movement and cleaned, oiled and timed it. It runs great but unfortunately the Dial is rather hideous. Here are the vitals: Stainless back, Gold Plated Bezel, powered by a BB3 movement.TonyP1010002.jpg
I saw this posted on another board - and mentioned in a thread here - but I figured I would start this thread as a courtesy to a very nice sponsor:39 watches from the Riedenschild booth at JCK were stolen. Yeah yeah..I should post this on the Bulova page, but I am very excited! It's a 1976 fully restored Accutron with a NOS single-coil 219 movement with a brand new lizard grain strap. Bought it for $100. Was that a good deal?I threw a 344 battery in it and away she went! Now, it's running a bit fast of course, so should I buy those Accucells on Ebay that were made for these (Or, where else can I buy such a battery?)
As I saw one of the member here built his own watch, I would like to try to build my own watch..I used to build RC cars as hobby (not driving, building only) and enjoy putting things together.Does anyone have some information where I can buy the kit and start building at home?I want something that will give me option to assemble the movement.
Just saw this on TV the other night, and wanted to share it here, for anyone else interested. I thought it was very interesting! Did a search, and did not find it already posted, but if this is a duplicate, I apologize in advance.Enjoy!
